IMPORTANT

1.  Conditions of Sale - For best results we recommend sending us hoof tracings or working closely with one of our Representatives.  Date of last trim should be identified on the tracing.  Please make sure that your measurements are correct.  It is very important that the hoof be carefully measured according to the instructions provided.  Also, we recommend that the hoof be trimmed consistently according to a barefoot trim.  This will provide for the best fit of the boot as the boots were made to simulate the barefoot horse.  When the measurements are on the cusp (between size ranges), or you are unsure as to the sizing, we recommend taking advantage of our Trial Program to try out the sizing before purchasing.

2. Guarantee - Marquis hoof boots are 100% guaranteed against defects in the manufacture of the boots.  They also may be returned for full refund (except shipping and handling) if they are unworn and in resalable condition with a Return Authorization Number obtained from our office within 30 days of purchase.   A15% restocking charge may apply.  We recommend trying the boots on with a plastic bag over the hoof and on a clean concrete surface.  If the boots are worn or modified by the consumer they are not returnable

3.  Disclaimer - Neither the seller nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or inability to use the product.  Before the user uses the product the user must determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use. And, the user assumes all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.

4.  Foreword by Dr. Helmut Marquis DVM - Congratulations on your purchase of these new marquis supergrip hoof boots.  To ensure that you and your horse enjoy using the hoof boots, please read these instructions

Your horse needs some time to get used to the hoof boot.  Humans also cannot make extensive hiking tours with new shoes.  Give your horse time to get slowly used to the new hoof boot.  Start with 10 to 20 minutes, increasing the riding time slowly and check your horse’s hoof each time after riding.  Once your horse is used to the boots, they can be then left on for some hours.  In the case where boots are to be worn for many hours a day, hooves have to be checked carefully from time to time.

The ergonomic fit of the hoof is achieved by the air chamber.

Hoof and hoof boot should be clean before use as sand or dirt residue on the boot may be abrasive to your horse.

We wish you and your horse many happy hours with the marquis supergrip.

Yours, Helmut Marquis
